Whoopie Pies

                               The Holidays are coming up fast, and when we think of holidays we think of treats! Whoopie pies are a great option because they look cute and taste delicious. 
What you need:

For cakes:2 cups all-purpose flour1/2 cup coca powder 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda1 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon salt1 cup well-shaken buttermilk1 teaspoon vanilla1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened1 large egg

For filling:1 stick unsalted butter, softened1 1/4 cups confectioners sugar 2 cups marshmallow cream 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions for Cake: To make this scrumptious treat start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a medium sized bowl whisk together flour, coca powder, baking powder, and salt until combined. In a separate bowl stir together vanilla and buttermilk. In a handheld, or stand up mixer beat together butter and brown sugar on medium-high, until fluffy, then add egg and beat until combined. Reduce speed to low, rotate between gradually adding the flour mixture and the vanilla mixture into the bowl, mix until smooth. Spoon the batter on to a  large baking sheet about 2 inches apart using a 1 tablespoon scoop. Bake for 12 minutes turning the baking sheet ever 6 minutes. After taking them out of the oven let them cool completely before filling them.

Filling:

Beat butter, confectioners sugar, marshmallow, and vanilla in a bowl with a stand up or hand held mixer on  medium speed until smooth and creamy, for about 3 minutes.

Assemble:

Dollop a tablespoon of filling on the flat sides of half of cakes and top with the remaining cakes.

Lastly, enjoy!

School is starting back up again… ugh! The only good thing is back to shopping! We put together a few outfits that will really get people saying “she has style!”

First day of school!  Everybody’s favorite day to dress up! New teachers (to impress), new friends, and new fashion trends. This outfit is versatile, flirty, and overall chic with a casual twist, a denim jacket! The club Monaco black dress with scalloped edges gives the look an elegant feel, while still being comfortable. The new balance shoes and gap denim jacket add a relaxed look.

Tuesday… the forgotten day, the dreaded day why do we have to still be at school!? You rolled out of bed and just want to be comfy and casual… right? A pair of chic and unique zipped jeans will definitely do the job! Pair them with a simple white tee and some wild espadrilles and you are good to go! Who is with us for Tuesday to get more attention, this outfit will definitely do the trick!

Guess what day it is? Hump day! Does that saying not get repeated at least 100 times on Wednesday? A pair of perfectly on trend boyfriend jeans and a v neck navy and white striped shirt will totally add a HUMP of style into your day! Who doesn’t like Birkinstocks? They never seem to go out of style, these metallic ones give the look a little kick!

One more day till Friday, so lets get pumped! This boho white shirt will throw us back to the summer vibes while still being "school appropriate". Shorts? yes they are finger tip length and super cute, add some flashy, metallic flats to tie in this effortless fashion-forward look. 

Its Friday, Friday gotta look cute on Friday! Everyones favorite day on the homework packed, form signing, week! Woo hoo! This outfit screams bohemian from the shirt to the skirt! The white imprinted shirt and army green skirt really complement each other. To tie off the look (literally) are some black wrap up sandals that are comfortable and stylish to wrap up the week!
